2 Franchise is the origin of democracy because it is in conformity with the principal of equality

demerits

1 according to the opinion of thinkers like maikale and hensigen, the uneducated and ignorant people also get the opportunity of franchise

2 it is also said that franchise should not be granted to a majority of people as it increases political unstability
