There were some of the few Indian political leaders eventful a life as M.N. Roy did and plunged into the nationalist movement after the partition of Bengal in 1905.
Communist International” and workers movements were quite famous and many Bengali revolutionaries as well as the fiery Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Roy left India in 1915 to acquire weapons for the fight against the British.
