They had to work for living( sold breads,took care of their house and children) Daughters of third estate were not allowed to go to school whereas daughter of prosperous sections of society were allowed to go to school after which their parents arranged marriage for them......Many women demanded the right enjoyed by men, to do jobs and hold political office. However they were allowed certain rights like to study and train for jobs...They were finally given the right to vote in 1945.
