Discuss the relationship between president and prime minister?

A Prime Minister is the head of the Cabinet and Council of Ministers, whereas a President is the Ceremonial head of the nation. The President of India appoints the Prime Minister. On the other hand, the President is elected by Members of Parliament and Members of Legislative Assembly through voting.
