Both Taylor and Fayol has given principles of management on the basis of their experiences.

Taylor was mainly concerned with the shop floor area whereas Fayol was concerned with the top level management.Taylor's principles are widely accepted in the corporate world as well as in the factories as they directly relate with the production and efficiency.

Principles propounded by Fayol are general in nature and are applied at all levels of management some of his principles and directly applicable while some are flexible in nature and can be changed as per the changes in the environment.
