HCL-It also acts as a food preservative. Apart from that,HCL helps to convert inactive pepsinogen into pepsin for digesting proteins in our stomach. ...Hydrochloric acid creates the optimum pH for enzyme action. The strong acid kills the bacteria in our food.
PEPSIN-Pepsin is an endopeptidase that breaks down proteins into smaller peptides. It is produced in the stomach and is one of the main digestive enzymes in the digestive systems of humans and many other animals, where it helps digest the proteins in food.
BILE-Bile contains bile acids, which are critical for digestion and absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins in the small intestine. Many waste products, including bilirubin, are eliminated from the body by secretion into bile and elimination in feces.
TRYPSIN-Protein Digestion. ... It also activates other trypsinogen molecules, as well as other protein-digesting enzymes secreted as proenzymes with pancreatic juice. Therefore, trypsin is essential for normalfunction of digestive processes that convert food proteins into amino acids for absorption.

Digestion is the process in which insoluble food or nutrient taken by an organism are converted into soluble molecules that facilitate the absorption of molecules by blood plasma or cells.

Explanation:

There are three different phases of digestion takes lace in three different areas or organs of body: First stage is cephalic phase which take splace in mouth and food is chewed and breakdown into small peices; second phase is called gastric phase of digestion which takes place in stomach where several chemicals are released by human body fo rthe digestion of food; and the third phase is intestinal phase of digestion where it interacts with several enzymes produced by the pancreas.

several chemicals released by human body during digestion are as following:

  1. HCL (hydrochloric acid): it is a gastric acid produced in the stomach that kills the pathogens present in the food and activate pepsinogen (inactive form of pepsin).
  2. Pepsin: Pepsin is produced by stomach only and activatd by HCL which helps in the digestion of proteins.
  3. Bile: Bile acid is secreted by liver which helps in the digestion of fat. Bile is stored in gall bladder and released when food reach at duodenum.
  4. Trypsin: Trypsin is produced by pancrease in an inactive form called trypsinogen and get activated when enters into small intestine. In small intestine, trypsin facilitates further digestion of protein  .
