You are what you eat. Nutrition matters. Nutrition is what comes out of your food.
The right type and amount of food helps any sportsperson increase their performance. Sugary foods or Drinks can give you a boost of Carbs and fuel you like a jet engine but the effect won't last long. However, Banana which is another great source of Carbs will fuel you with energy.
