there are 2 situations though which the girl Chil of India are going though I'm India. In higher classes people are likely to have girl Child but there are still chances of discrimination between a boy child and a girl child.
While in the lower classes people want to get a boy child which result in the abortion of the girl child by illegal methods, a girl child is not safe in the country as, people have stated a thinking that may be the girl is having a bad character in some bad situation. They are not able to get justice ..

It's really a good topic to have debate upon.
Anyway there is a very poor condition of girl child in India.
Whenever a girl child is born in any of the homes, all be pensive mood.
A girl child has really became an abuse for the society and its ridiculous that is today's modern world which is the opponent of the girl child who bring heaven to the home itself!
No body wants a girl child as a thinking is set in their mind that if we make a girl study then it would take a lot of money and then we will have to spend a lot of money on Dowry too.
That's why people are doing fetal deaths !
Really embarrassing for this 21st century.
The girls are not given proper judgement in this docile society .
No equality is present.
Boys who are illiterate are given more respect and Honour than a girl who is literate .
If there are 2 children in a house then the girl child would not get the same facilities that the boy child would get.
This really increases boys to do stupid things like crimes and even raping at small age .
So it increases the rate of raping and horrible crimes in our society which destroys the progress development and identity of India.
Girls aren't secure at all ,as there is no proper security system in India.
Government has made many laws but the laws are not brought into action.
After a girl is married the girl is tortured for Dowry also and the docile merciless husbands are also involved in such doings .
The society is not at all understanding for girls !
Then marry them to such dons of the society who are married at least 10 to 20 times.
Also bride burning is done if their demands are not fulfilled.
Anyway now gradually the thinking of the people is changing and girls are also given the same respect as boys but it's just 5% that we did.
Anyway some of the laws are promoting girls education and saving.
Due to a girls have got confidence and in many fields girls are promoted.
The two are getting the same respect but still the security is not enough.
It may be proved by the reaping and crimes done especially at highly educated cities such as Bombay.
Still there are many villages in which girls are beaten and child labour is promoted.
So save girls save their lives and don't discriminate.
They too are made by God and the blessing to the sword from heaven!
