Firms have three general sources of funds available:
• Internally generated cash
• Short term external finance
• Long term external finance
The sources of long term external finances are as follows:
• Foreign bonds
• Foreign bank loans
• Foreign equity
• Euro-Dollar markets
• Financial Institutions
The main difference between long term external finances and domestic companies are the latter has to deal with business deals within the country’s territories.
