in developed countries, the public healthcare system is well developed and mostly offers cheap healthcare services. People are more educated and work jobs. Women tend to have kids later in life and not many kids. People tend to live longer due to the better healthcare system.

In developing countries, the healthcare system is less developed and proper care is often avialable only in public health instituitions and is very expensive. People are not as well educated and unemployment rate is high. Women also tend to have more children as they believe that more children = more income which is not true.
