They are at rest and in motion too. The thing that makes it so, is your point of reference.Regarding to the trees outside your house, the walls are at rest. Regarding to a car moving on a road they are at rest. But as we all know that the earth rotates at its axis and also revolves around the sun . So technically theThey are relatively at rest.

They're having velocity of the earth (the velocity due to rotation and revolution of earth ) n so we are also having d same velocity, hance it feels like they are still but they are not.

earth is moving. Then we know that the sun or the solar system is revolving around our Milky Way galaxy. And then we know that the galaxy is moving as the universe is expanding.

As seen above,it is just our point of reference. In our daily life we consider all the things that are at rest regarding to some reference point such as a tree. We don't consider any other phenomenon as mentioned above,as it would be very difficult. Also it is not necessary.

Thank you!
