Disobeying a court order is termed as contempt of court.

  • Contempt of court is mainly the unlawful activity of being disobedient to or ill-mannered towards a court of law and its officers in the form of ill manners
  • If a High Court order is not trailed by the State Government or the Police, action would be taken against them as it extents to Contempt of Court.
