Parasites:- The organisms which feed on other living organisms (host) are called parasites.
Ex:- Leech,Amarbel(Cuscuta)
Saprophytes:- The organisms which feed on dead and decaying matter,are called saprophytes.
Ex:- Mushroom

The main dissimilarity between parasites and saprophytes is that the former lives inside or outside the live host organism,ex. tapeworm, ticks, while latter is dependent on dead and decaying matter, ex. Fungi.
