VIRTUAL IMAGES: A virtual image cannot be caught in a screen. They are formed when light rays appear to diverge from a point. They are formed by a plane mirror and a convex mirror. REAL IMAGES: A real image can be caught on a screen. They are formed when light rays converge towards a point. They are formed on a a projector screen and on the retina screen.
