Local time implies the time of a particular country, as regards the meridian running through it. On the contrary, standard time is referred as the official local time of a region ascertained by the distance from the Prime Meridian of the meridian running through the area.

hey local time is the actual time of the place while standard time is the time applied for the whole country
for example:- Arunachal Pradesh is the east most state of our country so let's assume that at their local time 6 am sun rises their while in Gujarat the sun will rise at 8 am according to local time but we can let the time vary in a country so a standard time latitude (82.5°E) is taken and the time st this latitude is the standard time for whole country

ADÉWALE: if i am wrong then please correct me
anmolkapil: bro it is right answer. you can goole it toooo.
ADÉWALE: okay
