Territorial asylum and extra-territorial asylum:
• Territorial asylum is settled within the territorial limits of the state offering asylum and is an exclusion to the practice of extradition. It is intended and employed primarily for the protection of a person’s respondent of political offenses such as treason, desertion, sedition, and espionage.
• Extra-territorial" asylum' is used to designate asylum. It refers to asylum in delegations and consulates, and on warships and merchantmen in the ports of the state from which the individual in search of refuge is trying to outflow.
