HEY MATE!!

ron (II) chloride is dissolved in water and then sodium hydroxide is added. A dirty green precipitate is obtained which confirms the presence of iron (II) chloride.

FeCl2 + 2NaOH → Fe(OH)2 + 2NaCl

Iron (IK) chloride is also dissolved in water and then sodium hydroxide solution is added. A reddish brown precipitate is obtained, which confirms the presence of iron (HI) chloride.

FeCl3 + 3NaOH → Fe(OH)3 + 3NaCl

HOPE IT HELPS!
