Question:

Distinguish b/w open unemployment and disguised unemployment each with an example in rural and urban areas.

Answer:

 \boxed{Open~Unemployment:}

It is a situation in which large section of people,with skills and education who are willing to work but don't get enough opportunities for employment which can yield their regular income. This is a common type of unemployment and is visible

Example: A graduate student from a good college didn't get a job bcz of lack of opportunities or he/she gets a job that is not as per his/her educational qualifications.

 \boxed{Disguised ~Unemployment:}

It is a weird type of situation in which people seems to be employed but in fact they are not. In this, more than required people are involved in the work and each one are made to work less than their potential or skill and thus leads to a disguised unemployment.

Example: People working in agricultural sectors bcz of no other options available. Let's consider a scenario of a agricultural field in which only 3 people are required but 5 people are working but the work can be completed by 3 easily, so it leads to the distribution of work among 5 people which force them to work less than their potential.
