Distinguish between a suffix and a preffix

The words which is added to the root word to modify it's meaning are called "suffix" and "prefix". Preffix come before while suffix comes after.

The position of a prefix is before the word and the position of a suffix is after the word.

Here IL is the prefix

Here DIS is tge prefix and MENT is the suffix
