Some elements found in nature in their original state are called Free elements or native elements.

Reason :

The earth's crust is the major source of metals.
Most of the metals are quite reactive and hence do not occur as free elements in nature.

Only a few less reactive metals like
---> Gold,
---> Silver
---> Platinum  and
---> Copper
 because of their low chemical reactivity they are found in nature as free element or in native form.

Note : silver and copper metals occur in native as well as combined state.

The elements that are present in their natural state in nature are called as "Native Elements". They are present either as an alloy or in its pure form.

The metals that are available in native deposits are – aluminum, arsenic, iron, tin, gold, platinum, silver, nickel etc.

The non-metallic native elements are – carbon and sulfur.

Silicon is a semi-metal that is present in its native state in nature.
