A Derivational suffix is used to make (or derive) a new words.

Generally, in particular they may be used to change a word.

This changing is that of from one grammatical class to another.

Examples could include:

"pore" can be changed into an adjective by adding the suffix -ous, resulting in the adjective "porous" 'having pores'.

Intentional suffix is nothing, correction.

inflectional suffix.

That's the suffix (such as the addition of -s to a noun to form a plural) which tells something about or informs regarding the the word's grammatical behavior.

example: dog to dogs
