  • Charging by conduction requires the 2 objects to be in contact with each other. In induction there is no question of contact between the objects.
  • In conduction, there will be some loss of charge from the objects. But in induction there is no loss of charge.

Hope it helps.

Answer:

Charging by conduction and charging by induction

Charging by conduction is the process when an uncharged object is brought in contact with charged object and the charge (electrons) flow from the charged object to the uncharged object.

Charging by induction is the process when an uncharged object is brought closer to a charged object and the charge (electrons) flow from the charged object to the uncharged object without contact.
