Distinguish between charging by induction and charging by conduction

In contrast to induction, where the charged object is brought near but never contacted to the object being charged, conduction charging involves making the physical connection of thecharged object to the neutral object. Because charging by conduction involves contact, it is often called charging by contact.

in charging by conduction a uncharged body is charged by bringing a charged body near it

in charging by induction a uncharged body is charged by bringing a charged body near it but not touching it.
in this case the body being charged acquires an opposite charge of body charging it.
