Civil rights are rights that everybody should have, regardless of race. Black power is racism. There is no difference between shouting "Black Power" or "White Power", they are just two sides of the same coin.

The civil Rights movement was led by Martin Luther King Jr. In 1954 .It was a non-violent and based on the path of civil disobedience against racial discriminatory (against Aftican-Americans) laws and practices.
The Black Power Movement (1966-1975) was militant anti-racist movement warranting violence if necessary to end racism.
