Distinguish between conductor, insulator and semiconductor.

Conductor - those substance which allow the flow of heat and electricity through them are called conductor .

Insulator - those substance which do not allow the flow of heat and electricity through them are called insulator

Semi-conductor - a solid substance that has a conductivity between that of an insulator and that of most metals, either due to the addition of an impurity or because of temperature effects.

insulator means a material used to prevent heat.


conductor means a person whose job is to collect money from passengers.


semiconductor a material which help heat to pass through it.
