Conservative forces :
1) If the work done by a force around the closed path is equal to zero then it is called conservative force
2) The work done is independent of the path followed
Ex: Gravitational Force

Non Conservative forces :
1) If the work done by a force around the closed path is not equal to zero, then it is called a non conservative force
2) The work done depends on the path followed
Ex: Frictional force

Hello friend

CONSERVATIVE FORCE:-

1. A force is said to be conservative if work done by the force or against the force to move an object through a certain distance depends only upon the initial and final positions of the body not on path followed by the object between initial and final positions.

2. it is a gravitational force

3. it is always zero

NON-CONSERVATIVE FORCE:-

1.  A force is said to be non conservative force if work done by the force or against the force to move an object through a certain distance depends on the nature of the path not on the initial and final positions.

2. it is a frictional force.

3. it cannot be zero.
