Answer:
(in table format)
converging plates.
1. plates that move towards each other.
2. have destructive margin (where 2 plates meet or separate)
3. when two plates (oceanic and land) collide, the heavier plate (oceanic) sinks/subducts into the mantle into a subduction zone, increasing the pressure on magma (hot molten rock inside earth). this magma, in the form of lava, erupts onto the crust through cracks to form volcanoes. lava destroys everything in its path, and the margin is thus destructive.
diverging plates.
- plates that move away from each other.
- have constructive margin.
- as they move away, an empty space is formed in between them. this place is filled with magma, forming a new surface through d process of sea floor spreading. the new surface is mid oceanic ridge, as it usually formes underwater. eg, mid Atlantic ridge. si, this margin is constructive.
