Heyya!

The units of measurement of length, mass and time are, therefore called fundamental units or base units.
The units of measurements of all other physical quantities, which can be derived from fundamental units are called derived units.
For example : unit of speed (i.e., ms-1) is a derived unit
As, speed = distance/ time
Therefore, unit of speed = Unit of distance / unit of time
                      = ms = ms−1

Hope it helps!☺️

Derived quantities are products and ratios of the fundamental quantities that exist in a System of units the corresponding units are metre kilogram second ampere kelvin mole and candela onedrive quantity is the metre per second which are units of velocity and is a simple ratio

Hope this helps you
