HAULING: the transportation of logs is called hauling.

SKIDDING: after limbing the logs our ready to be sent to the landing sites. this is called skidding

LIMBING: after the trees have been felled the trunks are cleared of branches and cut into logs of various sizes. This process is known as limbing.
