Humidity
Humidity is the amount of water vapor present in the air. Water vapor is the gaseous state of water and is invisible to the human eye. Humidity indicates the likelihood of precipitation, dew, or fog.
Rain
Rain is liquid water in the form of droplets that have condensed from atmospheric water vapor and then becomes heavy enough to fall under gravity.

Humidity is a measure of water vapor in the air. It is possible to have 100% humidity and have norain (that is what fog is). Rainfalloccurs when there is more than enough moisture in the air to condense around particles in theair to form raindrops (raindrops cannot condense without those particules).
