Heyaa Mate ✌

Your answer :---

Infrasonic waves are the waves less than 20HZ.

They are not audible to human ear. They are used for long distance communication, especially well documented in baleen whales and African elephants.Sources of infrasound in nature include volcanoes, avalanches, earthquakes and meteorites.

Ultrasonic waves are the waves having frequency of more than 20,000 HZ. They are audible to the human ear.

Ultrasonic waves are used in :---

1. Measuring the depth of the sea.

2. Locating the submarines, shipwreck, icebergs in the oceans.

3. Finding the defects and cracks in metal blocks.

4. Cleaning the hidden parts of the instruments.

Detecting the diseases in human body.

They are also used to locate kidney stones, gall bladder stones, ETC...

It is also used to monitor the growth of the foetus in the mother's womb.
