Difference intussusception and apposition:

Intussusception:

  • Intussusception is a process in which the cellulose is inserted into the spaces of the cell wall.
  • The process results in an increase in the area of the cells portion.
  • The cell wall is said to grow because of the deposition of the cellulose.

Apposition:

  • Apposition is the process in which layering of cellulose occurs.
  • The process of apposition helps in the formation of a secondary cell wall.
  • The layering of cellulose occurs in the inner portion of a cell plant.
