Rabi - Rabi crops are sown around mid-November – preferably after the monsoon rains. Kharif - Requires hot weather and a large amount of water to grow. Kharif - Cotton, groundnut, maize and rice are examples of Kharif crops. Rabi - Barley, gram, peas and wheat are examples of Rabi crops
