Answer:

The loudness of a sound is defined by its amplitude. The amplitude of asound decides its intensity, which in turn is perceived by the ear asloudness. Loudness is the measure of response of the ear to the sound.Intensity is the sound power per unit area.

loudness is the subjective perception of sound pressure. More formally, it is defined as, "That attribute of auditory sensation in terms of which sounds can be ordered on a scale extending from quiet to loud.

The intensity of a sound is the power of the sound in Watts divided by the area the sound covers in square meters. The loudness of a sound relates the intensity of any given sound to the intensity at the threshold of hearing. It is measured in decibels.
