Geographically both the poles North and South Pole are generally same, but physically they are somehow different. The fifferents are,

  1. North Pole is habitate where the South Pole is non habitate.
  2. North Pole is not covered with ice where the South Pole is covered with thick ice cap.
  3. North Pole is having less cold temperature where the South Pole is having extreme cold temperature.
  4. Many countries are locating in the North Pole like Norway, Sweedon and Greenland etc. Where in South Pole no countries are locating.
  5. Some oceans like Arctic ocean, rivers, waterfalls are in the North pole.whre no ocean, rivers, waterfalls are in the South Pole.
  6. North Pole is tourist spot where South Pole is experimental spot for scientist.
  7. North Pole is having many plants and animals where South Pole is having rare species of plants and animals.
  8. That's all the North pole is different from the South Pole.
  9. North pole lies in Arctic sea while South pole lies in a continent of Antarctica. Thus, Arctic is sea which surrounded by land and Antarctica is land of ice which is surrounded by sea.
  10. North pole is 700km near to land, where South pole is 1300km near to sea.
  11. North pole is 2m above the sea level and South pole is 2385m above sea pole.
  12. On 21st June, there is summer on Arctic, and Antarctica has winter then. Thus, Sun is below the horizon from September to March, in Arctic. Hence, on 22nd December there is summer on Antarctica.
  13. South Pole is more cold than that of North pole.
  14. Antarctica has 98% of the ice. Greenland in Arctic has second largest ice after Antarctica.
  15. North pole has more plant life than South pole.
