Original jurisdiction :-

let's first examine original jurisdiction,
this means that the court has right to hear the first case.the federal district courts have original jurisdiction over all classes that involve federal law . note that these courts can also exercise original jurisdiction over case is that involve diversity jurisdiction .diversities direction occurs when the party's are citizens of two different states or one party is a US citizen and another one is a party of foreign country. diversity plantiff may choose to bring the case in the federal district courts, though state law may be used will decide the case.

Appellate jurisdiction:-

now let let us take a look at appellate jurisdiction .the court hear an appeal from a court of original joystick jurisdiction the upper abs code uses appellate jurisdiction to give you a lower Court decision. just keep in mind that the appellate court will not hear the entire case .it is not a new trial.
