Population change is about changes in population composition; like age structure, sex ratio, literacy rate, occupational structure, etc. Three differences between Population Growth and Population Change: (a)Population growth is the difference between birth rate and death rate plus migration per year.

Population growth:
1) population growth always results due to the change of size of population. 2) internal migration does not lead to change in the population growth of the country.
Population change : 1) population change is any change that may result due to migration, death rates, birth rates and change in age composition and sex ratio. 2) internal migration brings about a change in population of a country.
