Primary sector is the occupation that includes agriculture, grazing of animals, fishing, lumbering and mining. In this activity people produce natural resources. Most of the rural people are engaged in primary activities.

Secondary sector are the occupation in which it involves the processing of products. For example manufacturing of cotton textile is secondary sector as it involves processing of cotton.
