Show how would you join three resistors, each of resistance 9 Ω so that the equivalent resistance of the combination is (i) 13.5 Ω, (ii) 6 Ω?

Answer:For the equivalent resistance to be 13.5 ohm, the following arrangement of combination of 9 ohm each resistance has to be joined in circuit of three resistance.

The first two resistors would be connected in parallel and third one is connected in series with the first two parallel resistors.
