Subsistence farming

Subsistence agriculture is a self-sufficiency farming system in which the farmers focus on growing enough food to feed themselves and their entire families. It depends on monsoon, and natural fertility of the soil and suitability of other environmental conditions to the crops grown.

Intensive agriculture

Intensive farming involves various types of agriculture with higher levels of input and output per cubic unit of agricultural land area.It is labour intensive farming, where high doses of biochemical inputs and irrigation are used for obtaining higher production.
