Difference between Epigenesis and progenesis is given below:

Epigenesis:

Epigenesis is the process which represents the initial growth stages of plants or animals or even fungi from a seed or a gamete or even a spore. This idea of cell division and organ formation is very much relevant today, but it was not accepted in historical times. It is a form of asexual reproduction.

Progenesis:

Progenesis is the process of sexual reproduction which takes the involvement of gametes from two genders.
