Prokaryotic cells -very minute in size, nuclear region not surrounded by nuclear membrane means nuclear membrane is absent, single chromosome present.

e.g - bacteria

Eukaryotic cell - Large in size, nucleus surrounded by membrane ,more than one chromosomes are present.
