Scaler - a quantity with only magnitude .
example ... distance , speed

vector - a quantity with both magnitude and direction of action .
example ...displacement and velocity

SCALAR QUANTITIES:

 # It has only magnitude and no direction.

 # It changes with the change in their magnitude.

Ex: Temperature, Mass..etc...

VECTOR QUANTITIES:

 # It has both magnitude and direction.

 # It changes with change in their direction or magnitude or both.

Ex: Velocity.etc..
