in parallel combination
resistance decreases
let for two resistors each of resistance r their equivalent resistance will be
1/R=1/r+1r
R=(r×r)/r+r
R(p)=r/2
so resistance decreases
in case of series combination resistance increas es
for two resistors each having resistance r
R(s)=r+r=2r
so resistance increases.
we will clearly see all things
thanks again

yes bro. when we add the resistance of resistance in series the resistance value increases.but when we add the values of resistance in parallel ,the value decreases . eg two resistors are connected in series AND parallel.their values are 2ohm and 4ohm. so the resistance in sereies = 6 ohm. The resistance in parallel is 1/2+1/4 = 4/3=1.3 ohm. hope it helps you. pls marks brainliest if you like it.
