Distinguish between static friction, limiting friction and kinetic friction. How

Maximum value of applied force that doesn't start motion is called limiting friction. When force is higher than that object starts moving and static friction is replaced by kinetic friction. Value of kinetic friction coefficient is lower than in case of static friction.
