Denotation and Connotation are categories or words which are used to determine the meaning of them.
This meaning may either be out in the open, expressed straight forwardly, or is hidden in the form of adjectives or associative words.
Denotation: This refers to the explicit meaning of a word. When the literal or primary meaning of a word is expressed in contrast to the feelings or any sort of ideas which a word may suggest.
