1) Flora and fauna: Flora refers to plant life and fauna refers to animals.

2) Biosphere and ecosystem: Biosphere is the region or atmosphere of earth that is covered with biotic or living organisms and ecosystem is the community of living organisms along with the non-living or abiotic components of the environment.

3) Extinct and endangered species: Extinct species refers to the species that no longer exists and endangered species are the ones that are going to get extinct in no effectfull measures are taken.

4) Wildlife sanctuary and biosphere reserve: A wildlife sanctuary is a land that provides protection to wildlife and biosphere reserves is an ecosystem where plants and animals of unusual scientific and natural interests exist.

5) National park and wildlife sanctuary: An area protected by a state or a nation for the entertainment of general public and to protect wildlife is called as a national park whereas, a land that provides protection to wildlife is called a wildlife sanctuary.
