Answer:
1. It is important to understand the difference between rotations and revolutions. When an object turns around an internal axis (like the Earth turns around its axis) it is called a rotation. When an object circles an external axis (like the Earth circles the sun) it is called a revolution.
2. Think of them as “space rocks." When meteoroids enter Earth's atmosphere (or that of another planet, like Mars) at high speed and burn up, the fireballs or “shooting stars” are called meteors. When a meteoroid survives a trip through the atmosphere and hits the ground, it's called a meteorite.
3. A star has its own light while a planet lights with the light of other stars. A star is very large in size where as a planet is small. Planets revolve around the other stars while stars doesn't revolve around any other object. Stars are uncountable while there are only eight planet in our galaxy
4. The Inner and Outer Planets in Our Solar System. ... The inner planets are closer to the Sun and are smaller and rockier. The outer planets are further away, larger and made up mostly of gas. The inner planets (in order of distance from the sun, closest to furthest) are Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars.
