1)-Lead and lead II oxide.

⚫PbO +2 KOH ----> K2PbO2 + H2O.

⚫Pb + 2KOH + 2H2O → K2[Pb(OH)4] + H2

2)-CARBON DIOXIDE AND SULPHUR DIOXIDE

⚫Carbon dioxide has no effects on pottasim dichromate paper (k2Cr2O7).

⚫Sulphur dioxide turns pottasim dichromate paper (k2Cr2O7) orange to clear green.

K2Cr2O7 + H2SO4 +3 SO2 ---->K2SO4 +Cr2(SO4)3 +H2O.

3)-ETHANE AND ETHENE

⚫When bromine inert solution is mixed with ethane it undergoes substitution reaction and a reddish brown vapors of bromine emits.

⚫When bromine is added to ethene it forms 1,2dibromoethane and the bromine color discharges.

C2H4 +Br2 --->C2H4Br2.

4)-COPPER II OXIDE AND MANGANESE II OXIDE.

⚫When HCl is added to CuO a white precipitate of copper chloride is formed.

CuO + 2HCl -->CuCl2 +H2O.

⚫When HCl is added to MnO2 a greenish yellow gas evolves and forms manganese chloride.

MnO2 +4HCl -->MnCl2 +2H2O +Cl2.
