thrust means a push or a force.it is also a push suddenly in a particular direction.
where as pressure is a force per unit area.

Thrust is the force acting vertically downwards or normally on the surface.It's SI unit is Newton.It is a vector quantity. while
Pressure is the thrust acting per unit area on the surface .It's SI unit is Pascal.It is a scalar quantity.
